Margarita Miranda-Abate

Senior Vice President, Consumer Lifestyle

Margarita is a communications professional with nearly 17 years of deep expertise in consumer and women’s products, both general market and Hispanic. At Kaplow, Margarita oversees the Agency’s lifestyle group that encompasses beauty, fashion and accessories, and general consumer with a client roster that includes CVS/pharmacy, Unilever, Lumene, Carter’s, OshKosh, BabyPhat and Timex, to name a few.

Margarita was most recently at Ogilvy Worldwide Public Relations and has held positions at DeVries, Edelman and LaForce+Stevens. She has worked with a plethora of blue-chip brands, including high-profile clients such as Mexico Tourism Board, Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Avon, Intel, QVC, Huggies, Pfizer, Sephora and Diageo, among others.

Before entering the world of PR, Margarita worked in the advertising industry. She holds a B.A. from Lehman College (CUNY) in theatre/anthropology, and an M.F.A. from Brooklyn College (CUNY). Born in the U.S. and raised in Mexico, she is fluent in Spanish and currently resides in Green Brook, New Jersey with her husband, son, cat and family rabbit.
