Liz Kaplow

At Kaplow we are passionate about telling our clients’ great brand stories, producing a meaningful connection to the consumer.

Liz Kaplow is a visionary entrepreneur who has reinvented the practice of public relations for today’s social/digital world.

Liz founded Kaplow Communications on the belief that brands can make meaningful connections with consumers through storytelling, an insight ahead of its time. Two-plus decades later, she pioneered the use of emerging technology to revolutionize the practice and better serve clients.

A respected advisor to business leaders around the globe, Liz also has been a mentor to prominent young practitioners. She has earned many honors, including the coveted Matrix Award from New York Women in Communications and PRNews’ Top Women in PR Award, as well as a repeated spot on New York Observer’s PR Power List.

She serves on the boards of Cosmetic Executive Women and the PRSA Foundation. An honors graduate of Vassar College, she has a graduate degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Randi Liodice

Randi Liodice

The power of one cohesive brand narrative should never be underestimated. We identify the important intersection between a brand’s DNA and audience relevancy that drives long-term loyalty.

Randi has established herself as a leading counselor for today’s top communications and marketing executives. In her two-decade career, she has served as an advisor to senior level talent across finance, consumer and technology industries, helping to craft and deliver ownable and impactful narrative strategies.

At Kaplow, Randi has developed several proprietary products aimed at strengthening relationships between brands and their most valuable audiences. These include the agency’s exclusive Digital Emotional Quotient™ (DEQ™) methodology and report, and Kaplow’s ONE Sessions, a unique approach to unification among internal teams that inspires consensus and strengthens branding and messaging across organizations.

In addition to working with blue-chip clients such as Fidelity, Target, CVS, Dermstore and others, she mentors staff throughout the agency on topics such as integrated strategy, presentation skills, digital communications, measurement and analytics, and more.

Prior to Kaplow, Randi served in management roles in the editorial and product space at IAC Applications, using her public relations expertise to help brand growing web properties and attract new users. She honed her communications skills working with some of the world’s most innovative companies, including Dove and The Campaign for Real Beauty, Proctor & Gamble, Weight Watchers, Ford Motor Company and a host of others.

Randi is a sought-after speaker at conferences and corporate events and a proud founding member of Chief, a private network of today’s leading female executives. Randi is an honors graduate of The University of Rochester and has studied voice at The Eastman School of Music. She resides in Westchester County, NY, with her husband Chris, and sons Dylan and Tyler.

Evan Jacobs

Evan Jacobs

Our business philosophy is built around hands-on senior level counsel and involvement each and every step of the way.

Evan has been the Chief Financial and Operating Officer of Kaplow Communications, Inc. since 1998. Prior to joining Kaplow on a full-time basis, he acted as legal counsel and helped in the original formation and operations for the Company.

Evan has served as a legal advisor in the areas of real estate and corporate law and as a principal in various real estate developments for more than 25 years. The firm he co-founded, Jacobs & Mosokowitz, advised clients in a broad range of areas, including real estate, finance and manufacturing.

Evan holds an A.B. from Vassar College and a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law. He serves as the Treasurer and on the board of Project Morry, a youth development organization as well as on the board of his coop. He was active in alumni admissions with Vassar and is currently members of both St. Andrews Golf Club and the Penn Club.

Samara Finn Holland

Samara Finn Holland

Developing authentic alignments is at the core of Kaplow’s DNA. We take pride in connecting brands with the right influential voices and partners to drive advocacy and change consumer behavior.

Samara is an integrated communications professional who has spent the last 15+ years helping household brands develop unique marketing programs rooted in storytelling and consumer engagement. A PR Week 40 Under 40 honoree and PR News Digital Communicator of the Year award winner, Samara has a track record of driving innovation, overseeing business growth and propelling managerial excellence. In addition to leading Kaplow’s influencer marketing division, she is responsible for expanding client services, designing staff development programs and elevating the agency’s external industry visibility.

Prior to joining Kaplow, Samara created a first-of-its-kind dedicated influencer relations team at Marina Maher Communications responsible for developing digital engagement strategies for clients such as Procter & Gamble, Coty, Bayer, Henkel, Merck and Pfizer.

Samara graduated cum laude from Fordham University at Lincoln Center with a degree in Communications/Media Studies and currently sits on the Fordham University Alumni Association Advisory Board.

A beauty enthusiast and seasoned communications executive, Claire Nilsson has 14+ years of experience creating transformative communications strategies and programming for global beauty and lifestyle companies.   Claire brings her expertise in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, thought leadership, influencer marketing and celebrity management to deliver award-winning work for Kaplow’s beauty roster, including CVS Beauty, Dermstore, Bluemercury, Ralph Lauren Fragrances, Conair, wet n Wild, Better Natured, CEW and more. During her tenure, Claire has been at the helm of elevating CVS as a true beauty destination, as well as spearheading their ground-breaking Beauty Mark campaign.

Prior to joining Kaplow, Claire was Vice President at mml overseeing beauty clients including essie, NYX Cosmetics, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Garnier, Soap & Glory, and more. Previous to mml, Claire was with Ketchum Public Relations working across their entertainment and CPG platforms for brands such as Absolut, Maserati, ConAgra Foods and Mattel.

Claire began her career in public relations after attending Vanderbilt University.

Jee Nah Chang Walker

Jee Nah is a seasoned communications executive that delivers business-driving results, brand awareness and consumer love for the most recognizable names in retail and lifestyle including Target, David’s Bridal, Fidelity Investments, Stanley brand, Stitch Fix and digital upstarts Digit, Greetabl and nectar.

At Kaplow, Jee Nah repositioned Timex from a bottom shelf watch to a fashionable style brand, created award-winning campaigns for PVH’s Warners brand that was awarded the Gold Sabre for Best Fashion and Beauty Campaign of the Year and was at the helm of establishing Target as a retail leader in advancing racial equity by accelerating the company’s DE&I efforts with the launch of its Racial Equity Action and Change committee.

Jee Nah is passionate about Kaplow’s culture of learning, mentorship and inclusivity and is a founding member of Kaplow’s DE&I Taskforce. She is proud to bring her clients her extensive experience launching exclusive retail and brand partnerships, designer collaborations, integrated influencer marketing programs and thought leadership communications programs for C-level executives.

Jee Nah attended The University of Colorado at Boulder with degrees in English and Creative Writing.

Liz Mefford

Kaplow’s approach to health and wellness empowers our clients to connect with consumers who are eager to participate in their personal health journey like never before.

Liz is an accomplished communications professional who brings two decades of health and wellness experience across pharma, beauty and med devices to her role at Kaplow. Her passion lies in helping companies think creatively about brand storytelling, and how to bring that to life in integrated marketing campaigns and programming.

Her ability to wrap science into a consumer-friendly narrative has delivered award-winning work for past clients including Neutrogena, Aveeno, Johnson & Johnson Consumer R&D, Acuvue Brand Contact Lenses, Xtrac Laser and Ortho Dermatologics brands.

She led the first ever prescription skincare product campaign on TikTok, created advocacy programming for wide access to sunscreens in the US, and elevated awareness around the emotionally positive impact of contact lenses for teenagers through a multi-year celebrity ensemble campaign.

At Kaplow, she leads a team who are educating consumers on blue chip and emerging health and wellness brands that are redefining what’s possible in personal health care.

She holds a B.A. in Journalism and Communications from the University of Minnesota.

Sonya Li Casino

Sonya is a communications professional with over a decade of experience leading campaigns across lifestyle, retail, consumer tech, corporate and health and wellness brands at Kaplow. Over the course of her career, she has developed a strong understanding of the evolving media landscape and the strategic elements needed to bring a story to life. Sonya has a proven track record for generating top coverage across media verticals and has worked with clients ranging from Fortune 500 brands to start-ups.

Sonya joined Kaplow in 2013 and attributes her tenure to the agency’s team-oriented, collaborative nature.
