Kaplow's Health Team Launches Signal Ring, a New Take on Blood Pressure Monitoring
Some of the most exciting innovations in health are the ones that can make a real difference in people’s everyday lives. That’s why we were excited to partner with Vital Signals on the launch of Signal Ring, the world’s first truly cuffless, calibration-free blood pressure wearable.
The timing couldn’t be more relevant. Nearly half of U.S. adults have high blood pressure, yet the standard way of measuring it hasn’t changed much in more than 150 years. Signal Ring is looking to challenge that status quo.
Designed as a sleek titanium ring for everyday wear, Signal Ring combines advanced technology, scientific rigor and user-friendly design to make blood pressure monitoring simpler and more accessible. The goal: give people an easier way to better understand and manage their cardiovascular health.
For the Kaplow Health team, this was exactly the kind of story we love helping bring to life—a meaningful innovation solving a real-world problem, paired with a compelling founder vision.
Working alongside founder and CEO Tom Moss and the Vital Signals team, we helped introduce Signal Ring and its potential impact to both media and consumers. Our earned media prowess generated strong interest across business, technology, health and national media, earning coverage from outlets including Axios, Bloomberg, Inc., CNET and Engadget. More importantly, it sparked conversations about how wearable technology can help people take a more active role in understanding their health.
Projects like this reflect what drives our teams in the Health practice at Kaplow. Whether we’re supporting emerging health technologies or established healthcare brands, we focus on finding the human story behind the science and translating complex innovations into stories that resonate.
We’re proud to have played a role in Signal Ring’s launch and look forward to seeing how innovations like this continue to shape the future of everyday health monitoring.
